Session Description:

Why can’t I just install WP and concentrate on writing? How come I have to constantly upgrade not just WordPress, but PHP and my server? Why do I have to keep learning new coding frameworks?

To simply say that “the world changes” feels like a cop out, but in reality, all those fancy new features which you want to make your site look like Web 2.0 come with a price. No matter if you’re writing code or just running a site, you’ve got to maintain it, and no, that doesn’t just mean upgrading your plugins and themes.
