“I am a graphic designer with some experience. I want to learn WordPress fast. Can I do this at WordCamp?”
This is an excellent question because it reminds us that attendees have all kinds of practical things they want to learn.
First of all, to answer. “Yes.” I think that coming to WordCamp Chicago will help you to learn WordPress fast. The conference will be set up on two different tracks: A User Track and A Developer Track. The User Track will be your best bet for helpful tips on writing content and learning the ins and outs of running a WP site. The Developer Track is for people who want to dig deep and share ideas at a more advanced level. Our speakers are amazing professionals who have so much to offer – it is sure to be worth your time and effort.
You may find that the networking is even more valuable than the sessions themselves. The WordPress Community is always willing to help you out. I found that by meeting people and asking questions, my learning curve was overcome much quicker than by trying to figure things out on my own.
