Brian and I would like to give you a warm welcome back to WordCampChicago.com and wish you a very HAPPY new year! We hope everyone’s holiday season was fantastic and safe. We’re rarin’ to go over here and are already in the planning stages for WordCamp Chicago 2010! Last year was such a success, and so much fun – we really hope to see everyone back again – – and that you’ll all bring a friend. We’re looking to ramp up the registrant numbers this year and already have a large venue in mind and are close to confirming the location – – which will be announced here shortly (soon as i know, you’ll know!)
Will you do us the kind favor of answering our short little poll on whether or not you’re planning to attend WordCamp Chicago this year? We know, and understand, that it’s a little early in the year – but if we can get a rough idea on how many people are looking invade the Windy City in June for WordCamp – that will help us a great deal with our planning and plotting!

When you say “two tracks” does that mean I pick one for the day? Or I can hop around? A “track” makes me think I’m stuck in it.
It was great last year!
The next important thing would be to know the start and end times for those making travel arrangements.
All things in good time, Gary 🙂 Can’t wait to see you in Chicago again!
Two tracks means that you have two presentations/panels to choose from at any given time. They will be simultaneous presentations, and you can pick the one that appeals to you the most. Your not stuck by any means.
Oh – and by June 6 and 7th – I meant 5th and 6th, of course hehe
PS – Is this really the 6th and 7th of June 2010? That’s Sunday and Monday…
I cannot wait to go again. I had a blast and met so many people. It was great to help so many WordPress newbies after the convention too. It was one of the things that inspired me to start WPAddict.
BTW… I encourage you to also send me any updates that you would want people to know about WordCamp Chicago. I am trying to reach out to people on this so that anyone that may have not heard of WordCamp yet will be reached. 🙂
